Worship

In worship we immerse ourselves in the ways of God, and learn what God is doing in us and in our world.  Join us!

Sundays
Worship at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m.
Christ the Servant Lutheran Church
2121 E. University Drive
(three miles east of TWU, next to the Sonic)

Wednesdays
Meal and Worship at 6:00 p.m.
Denton Wesley Foundation Building – UNT
1501 Maple Street
(between Kerr Hall and Maple Hall)

    We worship in
the chapel of the Denton Wesley Foundation where there is lots of room for worshippers, musicians, and movement.

Our worship includes praise, prayer, music, silence, art, drama, hearing and proclaiming God’s Word, and sharing in Holy Communion. All this prepares us to be Christ’s disciples in the world.

Worship is the “work of the people.”  Your contributions in music, art, drama, and proclamation are vital to these worship experiences.

Jill Goerner leads the reflection in worship.
Josh Murtha, Amanda Russell, and Andy Greatorex are among the musicians who lead our worship.  Here they're performing at a coffee shop.  Do you sing or play an instrument?  Offer your talents in worship.
Valter Monjane was baptized at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church.  He is pictured here with CTS Pastor Peggy Ogden-Howe and Lutheran Campus Pastor Celene Welch.
Martin Converse serves as one of our cantors in worship.

Some of the students practice making "a joyful noise" before worship begins.
